🏥 Job Overview

Role: RN – MedSurg Tele (6S Unit)
Location: Chesapeake, Virginia (Coastal Virginia – near Virginia Beach & Norfolk)
Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Shift Options:
- Day 3x12 (07:00 – 19:30)
- Day 4x12 (07:00 – 19:30)
Type: Travel Contract
Offer Type: ✅ Auto Offer

⏰ Schedule & Pay Details

Shifts: Days (with rotation requirements)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Holidays: Required if within contract
Floating: Required
Overtime: After 48 hours
Preference: Candidate must confirm 3x12 or 4x12 upfront

👩‍⚕️ Patient Care Details

Unit: 6S MedSurg Tele
Patient Ratio: ⚠️ 1:7 (must be pre-closed with candidate)
Specialty Experience:
- Neurology / Stroke patients (within last 2 years)
Required Skills:
- IV Starts
- Telemetry Interpretation

📋 Requirements (Strict)

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years
- Travel experience REQUIRED
EMR:
- EPIC proficiency (NO exceptions)
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
License:
- Compact OR Virginia License (in hand only)
