Description

Unit: MS/TELE

Minimum Experience: 2yr+ in MS, previous tele experience (must be able to interpret TELE strips)

Required Certifications: WI RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS

Charting Experience: Epic preferred

COVID Vaccine required (exemptions will be considered)

Unit Information: 10 bed unit, not normally full. Normal day shift ratio is 2-3:1, could flex up to 4-5:1. Critical access hospital. General med surg, pre and post-op patients, also see a lot of outpatient pts from infusion or injection. 24/7 registration in ED. Physician in house 24/7. Lab 24/7. Full surgical crew and xray crew on-call 24/7.

Desired Skillset: Critical access hospital, so need the ability to work independently.

Float Requirements: Will be required to float to critical access hospitals as needed, may need to float to ED Units but this is rare - would only be helping hands.

Pros

I have worked with this company for 3, along with a few others, and they have been great! They seem to be very appreciative of their staff and always sending appreciative gifts to you. I can’t say much now that they have joined TotalMed, but am looking forward to see what develops.

Cons

Rates are not always the best, would be nice to have a few more eastern and southern state options, like Mississippi or North Carolina cities
