Hours: 36 hours/week
Schedule: Includes weekends, holidays, and on-call as required

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse for a dynamic hospital setting in New York. The ideal candidate must be highly adaptable and comfortable floating across multiple units including Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatrics. This role requires strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and the ability to perform in high-acuity environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across multiple units including MS/Tele, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatrics
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage telemetry patients effectively
• Deliver care to patients with coronary care needs and acute conditions
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies as per protocol
• Respond to emergency situations and rapid patient condition changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using MEDITECH EMR
• May be required to function in a charge nurse capacity when needed

Requirements

• Active New York RN License (Required)
• Minimum 1 successful travel assignment (Required) – First-time travelers will not be considered
• Experience in MS/Tele with Coronary Care exposure (Required)
• Must be comfortable floating to:
  • Med/Surg
  • PCU
  • ICU
  • Emergency Department
  • Pediatrics
• BLS & ACLS (AHA Required)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
