Details of Assignment:

This position reports to the Clinical Education Department Manager. The OR RN Circulator Educator provides education and instruction for Good Shepherd staff, focused on clinical staff. This position acts as a resource to all staff regarding healthcare education and training programs. The OR RN Circulator Educator introduces technical and theoretical concepts in teaching techniques to staff and others as needed. This position supports the development of education with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators. The OR RN Circulator Educator is proficient, or will become proficient, in the use of simulation training using mannequins and simulation software. This position works closely with other members of the Quality Management team to promote continuous improvement throughout the system. The OR RN Circulator Educator also works closely with the Quality Management team and department managers across the system to identify educational opportunities. Assists with Quality Department activities as requested.
