Description
PCU RN - Rapid City SD - 12 hour nights
• Minimum experience: 1.5 years general nursing experience - 1 year specific to PCU
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only with 2+ years of experience
• This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg - please ensure traveler understands
• Step down level experience with post cardiac/vascular, post-cardiac cath patients, post open heart surgery, post TAVR, post EP studies, post pacemaker insertion
• Patient Ratios: RN: 1:4 most of the time, can be 1:3 (acuity dependent)
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post cardiac cath), MI pharmacology, titratable Cardiac/vasoactive gtts (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine) - please request manager approval if traveler does not have this, Heparin gtts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes management, TNK administration (preferred)
