Description

ICU RN - 12 hour days - Rapid City, SD

• Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Level II Pediatric Trauma, Magnet Designated, Primary Stroke and Chest Pain Center, Teaching Hospital

• 417 Beds

• General Information Beds: 39 - MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU - mixed unit

• Minimal Experience: 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred

• If they have 1.5 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel and have significant RN experience outside of ICU, please have CRT send to management team for approval

• Will you accept a first-time traveler? No. Minimum one prior travel assignment.

 

• Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma

• Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR - 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers

• Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) - acuity dependent

• Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS TNCC (REQUIRED)

• Skills required: Epic experience

• Comfortability working a 48hr/week contract - this is not negotiable for this unit
