Travel Cath Lab Tech

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment supporting a cardiac catheterization lab in an acute care setting. This role involves assisting physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining a high standard of procedural care.

The Cath Lab Tech will work closely with the procedural team, operate imaging equipment, and support both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
• Schedule: 5x8 hour day shifts
• Shift Time: Typically 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM based on unit needs)
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP (rapid start required)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Acute care hospital

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment
• Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environments
• Monitor patients during procedures and assist with care as needed
• Support both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
• Float as needed based on department requirements

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• Active state license required (if applicable)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Strong teamwork and adaptability
