Travel EP Lab Tech

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist for a travel assignment supporting a cardiac procedural lab. This role involves assisting physicians during electrophysiology and invasive cardiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality procedural support.

The EP Tech will be responsible for scrubbing procedures, operating specialized equipment, and supporting a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
• Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts
• Shift Time: Approximately 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Acute care hospital

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies and invasive cardiology procedures
• Scrub and support procedures including diagnostic caths, PCI, ablations, and device placements
• Operate and maintain EP lab equipment
• Monitor patient condition during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and procedural workflow
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document procedural activity accurately

Requirements

• RCIS or RCES certification required
• Active state license required (if applicable)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of EP Lab or invasive cardiology experience
• Strong experience scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Experience with complex procedures including PCI and Impella preferred
