Occupational Therapist (OT) – Day Shift
Direct Hire | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

A healthcare organization is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time day shift role. Position Overview

Permanent, full-time role
40 hours per week
Day shift schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Opportunity to work at multiple locations as needed
Collaborative, team-oriented work environment

Shift Details

8-hour day shifts
Monday–Friday schedule
No weekends required (based on department needs)

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic interventions and purposeful activities per physician orders
Support patient rehabilitation and functional independence
Document all patient care and billing in a timely and accurate manner
Supervise and collaborate with Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs)
Ensure compliance with departmental, state, and professional standards
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Willingness to work at multiple locations as needed
Valid driver’s license required
Proof of insurance required if using personal vehicle

Education

One of the following is required:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Bachelor’s degree accepted if graduated before January 1, 2002
Master’s degree required if graduated after January 1, 2002
International graduates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Master’s degree preferred

Certifications & Licensure

Must hold or be eligible for state OT licensure within 90 days of hire
CPR certification required within 90 days
Must maintain all required licensure and certifications
AOTA membership preferred

Experience

Clinical experience from training required
Additional professional experience preferred but not required

Additional Details

May require travel between multiple locations
Team-based work environment
