Interventional Radiologic Technologist – Day Shift
 

Direct Hire | Full-Time

A healthcare organization in Northwest Indiana is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist for a permanent full-time opportunity. This position offers sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, along with the chance to work in a dynamic, procedure-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and the ability to support physicians during complex interventional imaging procedures.

Primarily Monday–Friday
Call rotation required
Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital
Collaborative, team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in accordance with ARRT and ASRT standards
Assist physicians during specialized interventional procedures
Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging quality
Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
Provide radiation safety for patients and staff
Assist other departments as needed
Document procedures accurately and in a timely manner

Fluoroscopy

 

Equipment Utilized

Interventional radiology imaging systems
Fluoroscopy equipment
Digital imaging and PACS systems
Standard patient monitoring equipment

 

Requirements

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Indiana State Board of Health license
CPR certification required
2 years of interventional radiology experience preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy and imaging techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with general computer applications
Ability to multitask and work independently
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must participate in call rotation and meet response time requirements

 

Education

One of the following is required:

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program

 

Certifications & Licensure

ARRT certification (Required)
Indiana State licensure (Required)
CPR certification (Required)
Specialty certification encouraged

 

Additional Details

Must live within 30 minutes of the facility
Call participation required
Team-based work environment
Focus on patient safety and procedural accuracy
