Travel RN – Special Procedures / Cath Lab | Los Angeles, CA
13 Weeks | 40 Hours | Varied Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA within the Special Procedures / Cath Lab department. This role is ideal for an RN with strong clinical skills, procedural experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced interventional setting.


Job Details

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
  • Shift: Varied
    • Monday–Friday
    • Start times may vary between 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM
    • Staggered shifts
  • Location: Los Angeles, CA
  • Call Requirement:
    • Required for after-hours coverage
    • Typically 1–2 days per week
    • 1–2 weekends per month
  • Interview Process: Manager will call and interview
  • Scrubs: Provided onsite

Department Overview
The Special Procedures / Cath Lab department provides pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care for patients undergoing invasive, interventional, and therapeutic cardiac and vascular procedures. This includes treatment of:

  • Cardiac and vascular arterial / venous disorders
  • Structural heart conditions
  • Cardiac rhythm abnormalities
  • Device and lead implantation / removal
  • Therapeutic catheter ablations

Requirements

  • Active CA RN License in the state of practice: Required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) required
  • Must be comfortable working in a procedural / interventional environment
  • Must be willing to float to CV Holding (Pre-op / Post-op) as needed

Preferred

  • BSN preferred
  • Advanced EKG certification preferred
  • Previous experience in Critical Care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Special Procedures preferred

Additional Info

  • Candidates should be comfortable supporting both direct and indirect patient care activities
  • This role requires strong clinical judgment, coordination, and the ability to support patients through all phases of procedural care
