Qualifications
- Cardiovascular ICU Nurse (2 years)
Description
- Shift: 12-Hour Rotating or 12-Hour Nights (shift will be discussed during the interview)
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Job Title: CVICU RN (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)
- Required Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA
- MA RN License required at time of submission
- Specialized Experience:
- Strong cardiac experience required (medical or surgical)
- PA line experience (Pulmonary Artery Lines) is required
- Transvenous pacing expertise required
- Preference for experience with MCS (Mechanical Circulatory Support) devices, such as IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) and Impella
- Floating: Will be based in the CCU (Coronary Care Unit) but will float to the CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) as needed
- Orientation: Weekly, every Monday (excluding holidays)
- Travelers:
- No local travelers accepted (must live more than 50 miles away from the facility)
- Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent staff in the last 6 months are not eligible
- RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be submitted at the time of application
- Parking: May cost up to $43 per day
- Interview Process: NM (Nurse Manager) to interview and offer the position
