Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – LTC | Childress, TX | Days

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Childress, Texas. This is a great opportunity to work with patients needing support in communication, cognition, and swallowing functions.

Assignment Details:

Location: Childress, TX
Start Date: 05/18/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (8-hour shifts)
Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
Weekends/On-Call: None

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement treatment plans for speech, communication, and swallowing disorders
Assess and monitor patient progress in cognitive and communication abilities
Provide therapy to improve speech clarity and comprehension
Work with patients to reduce aspiration risks
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
Active Texas (TX) SLP License
Strong clinical and communication skills
