Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians following established protocols
Ensure patient safety and provide age-appropriate care during imaging procedures
Prepare and educate patients regarding procedures and obtain necessary consents
Assist radiologists during procedures as needed
Maintain accurate documentation including orders, diagnosis, and clinical history
Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles
Assist in training and supervising student technologists
Collaborate with imaging team and support staff to maintain workflow
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Maintain cleanliness and safety within the department
Participate in departmental initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

Experience
Ability to perform CT scans and handle patients safely
Basic knowledge of radiologic/imaging procedures
1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
CT experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications
ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) required
BLS Certification (AHA) required
ARRT (CT Certification) preferred

Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Graduate of Allied Health or CT Program preferred
