Description

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient | Lawton, OK | Days

We are hiring a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an inpatient rehab setting in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across all age groups in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Assignment Details:

Location: Lawton, OK
Start Date: 04/21/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts)
On-Call: None

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized care plans for inpatient and outpatient rehab patients
Manage conditions including dysphagia, neurogenic disorders, and communication deficits
Collaborate with physicians and rehab teams for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and track patient progress

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of SLP experience
Active Oklahoma (OK) SLP License (or compact)
BLS (AHA) required
NIH certification required
Must be open to floating between inpatient and outpatient rehab settings

Preferred:

Experience with neurogenic patients and dysphagia
Recent travel experience
ACLS (AHA) certification
