Travel RN – Acute Dialysis
📍 Location: Syracuse, NY
🏢 Facility: Upstate University Hospital (DCI 2196)
📅 Start Date: ASAP (approx. 2–3 weeks post-clearance)
📆 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
💼 Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic team in Syracuse, NY. This role involves providing specialized dialysis care in an acute care setting, with flexibility to float between nearby facilities as needed.
🕒 Schedule & Shift
- Shift: Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36–40 hours/week
- On-Call: Required (Sunday + occasional weekdays)
- Note: No block scheduling; must be flexible based on unit needs
🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Provide acute dialysis care to patients in a hospital setting
- Operate dialysis machines (BBraun/NxStage)
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond to complications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Float to nearby facilities (within ~10 minutes) as required
✅ Requirements
- Active RN License (required at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Acute Dialysis experience required
- Experience with CRRT or PD highly preferred
- BLS Certification

- Floating required between hospital campuses
- Facility operates 6 days/week
- No scheduling requests accepted
- ID badge must be picked up onsite before start
- Start date confirmed only after full clearance
