Travel RN – Acute Dialysis

📍 Location: Syracuse, NY
🏢 Facility: Upstate University Hospital (DCI 2196)
📅 Start Date: ASAP (approx. 2–3 weeks post-clearance)
📆 Contract Length: 13 Weeks

💼 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic team in Syracuse, NY. This role involves providing specialized dialysis care in an acute care setting, with flexibility to float between nearby facilities as needed.

🕒 Schedule & Shift

Shift: Days
Guaranteed Hours: 36–40 hours/week
On-Call: Required (Sunday + occasional weekdays)
Note: No block scheduling; must be flexible based on unit needs

🩺 Key Responsibilities

Provide acute dialysis care to patients in a hospital setting
Operate dialysis machines (BBraun/NxStage)
Monitor patients during treatment and respond to complications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Float to nearby facilities (within ~10 minutes) as required

✅ Requirements

Active RN License (required at submission)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Acute Dialysis experience required
Experience with CRRT or PD highly preferred
BLS Certification

Floating required between hospital campuses
Facility operates 6 days/week
No scheduling requests accepted
ID badge must be picked up onsite before start
Start date confirmed only after full clearance
