Description
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced CT/Rad Tech (Dual Modality) for a travel contract assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is based in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department where technologists perform both CT and general X-ray studies.
Assignment Details:
13-week travel contract
Schedule: 3x12s (Friday–Sunday)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
Start Date: Late April 2026
No call required
Holiday rotation: 75% of holidays
Facility Overview:
16-bed freestanding emergency department
Licensed under Carolinas Medical Center Main
No trauma designation
24/7 on-site CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound services
Approximately 87 ED visits per day
Department Overview:
Performs approximately 60 CT and diagnostic X-ray studies daily
Serving primarily ED patients with limited outpatient imaging
Collaborative environment with ultrasound coverage available 24/7
Responsibilities:
Perform both CT and general diagnostic X-ray procedures
Complete portable X-ray exams as needed
Ensure high-quality imaging while working in a fast-paced ED setting
Requirements:
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility

X-ray Equipment: Shimadzu RadSpeed and portable units
Power Injectors: Bayer/Medrad
