JOB DESCRIPTION
● About Facility:
o 16 bed free standing emergency department
o No Trauma Designation, licensed under CMC Main
o Facility offers 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services
o No outpatient imaging at this time
o Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
● Department Information:
o Average 87 ED visits per day
o We perform an average of 60 total DX & CT studies/day
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o We serve ED and limited outpatients at this location
● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
o BLS
● Skills required:
o Dual-modality DX/CT technologist role.
o Perform both CT and general x-rays, including portables.
● Support within the Department:
o Ultrasound Technologist also on staff 24/7
● Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o RIS: Epic Radiant
o PACS: Philips iSite
o Department specific Equipment:
▪ CT scanner Siemens Edge
▪ Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
▪ Shimadzu RadSpeed X-ray
▪ Shimadzu portable x-ray
● Floating: If yes, where?
o No
● Orientation (facility and unit):
o Administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review, etc.) – 1 day
o 2 days to 1 week departmental (as needed)
● Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: will be required, needs will vary based on recquisition
o No call
o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
o RTO: Resource Team approval
o Shift times: 12 hr shifts

o Scrub Color: Black
