Beds: 36
Minimum Years of Experience required- 2 years Med/Tele RN exp (Resource Team)
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Spinal surgery/Spinal fusion – high acuity, Stroke, Seizure, Myasthenia Gravis, Brain tumors/lesions, AMS
Patient Ratios: RN: 1:4-6, based on acuity; (surge staffing could increase ratios up to 1:7-8)
Required License, National Certification, Certs:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
EMR: EPIC
IV Pump: Alaris pump
Med dispensing: Omnicell
Unit equipment: Vital machines are Masimo, portables are Phillips
Floating: If yes, where? Within region and scope of practice
Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable

Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises
Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main CMC Mercy Levine Children s Hospital
Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH)
If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every other
No call
Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
