Position Details:
Position: Interventional Radiology RN (IR RN)
Shift: Day | 4x10-Hour (09:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Block Schedule: Yes
Contract Duration: 26 Weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Shift Length: 10 Hours

Job Description:
Traveler will work as an IR RN, with partial responsibilities in the recovery room caring for patients post deep organ biopsies and angiography cases.
Operates complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment.
Ensures routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental timeframes.
Prepares for and assists physicians during invasive diagnostic and image-guided procedures.
Provides clear patient education regarding procedures, medications, contrast media, and associated biological effects to reduce anxiety and ensure understanding.

Requirements:
Active CA RN License
BLS & ACLS Certifications
Minimum 3–5 years of recent relevant experience
Experience with recovery of deep organ biopsy & angiography cases (PACU experience highly preferred)
Ability to take varied call (nights/weekends) and rotating weekends

Preferred Qualifications:
IR / Cath Lab experience

Alternate schedule option: 5x8-hour shifts (09:30 AM – 6:00 PM), no call, no weekends
