Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Critical Care) at York Hospital providing care to critically ill patients. Responsible for managing ICU patients, monitoring conditions, and delivering high-quality nursing care in a critical care setting.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care to ICU patients
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients
• Manage ventilators, drips, and critical care interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team
• Document patient care accurately
• Maintain patient safety and follow ICU protocols
• Work day shifts and every other weekend
• Adapt to variable shifts as required
Requirements:
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years ICU RN experience
• Strong critical care experience required
Licenses/Certifications:
• Active Maine RN License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Influenza Vaccination – Required
Education:
• Not specified (standard RN education required)
