Travel Pharmacist – Retail (4x10s, No Weekends)

We are seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist for a travel assignment supporting a hospital-affiliated outpatient pharmacy. This role focuses on medication dispensing, patient counseling, and providing excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy setting.

This is a highly desirable schedule offering consistent weekday hours with no weekends or call requirements.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Pharmacist (Retail / Outpatient)
• Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (Monday–Thursday)
• Shift Time: Approximately 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Retail / Outpatient Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling on prescriptions and medication use
• Review prescriptions for safety, accuracy, and interactions
• Deliver excellent customer service in a retail environment
• Utilize pharmacy systems for processing and documentation
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license (state-specific)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience required
• Experience with retail pharmacy systems (QS1 preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
