Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ER RN will provide rapid assessment, triage, and emergency care to patients experiencing acute illness, injury, trauma, or life‑threatening conditions. This role requires strong critical‑thinking skills, ACLS/BLS proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessment and triage to prioritize care based on acuity and available resources.
• Stabilize and manage patients in medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies, including starting IVs, administering medications, and performing emergency interventions.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient condition; recognize changes and notify physicians promptly.
• Provide wound care, splinting, specimen collection, and basic bedside procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other ER team members to coordinate care and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, medications, follow‑up care, and community resources.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; ensure proper setup and readiness of emergency equipment and supplies.

Required Qualifications

• Active CA RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification (PALS preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Department or high‑acuity setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays in a fast‑paced environment
