12 HR Nights - Every third weekend, Every Other Holiday

Patient Population
 

• Ortho, bariatric, medical surgical patients
• Neonates (0-4 weeks), Infant (1-12 months), Pediatrics (1-12 years), Adolescents (13-17 years), Adults (18-64 years), Geriatrics (65 years and older)

Required Certifications
Must be attached at submission:
 

• BLS - American Heart Association
• LPN EKG exam

Minimum Experience Requirements
 

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from the state of employment

Preferred:
 

• 1 year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice

Required Skills
 

• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patient conditions during treatment
• Inform medical professionals regarding patient conditions and care
• Record patient medical histories

Preferred Skills
 

• EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training

Charting System

Charting:
 

• Follows unit specific and hospital charting guidelines

Include any required check-off, class, or training if listed
 

• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia class with passing grade on exam (required for Telemetry/Remote Telemetry units)
