Description
DAYS - 10hr: 7-5:30pm - call 8/9 days per month (call starts at 5:30p on weekdays and 24 hours on the weekends)
URGENT!!!! 13-26 weeks
8-9 cases per day
Cardiovascular Special Procedures Tech:
*** MUST POSSES RECENT CATH LAB AND IR EXPERIENCE. MUST BE ABLE TO USE C-ARM ***
Must have:
- ARRT: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Cath Lab experience
- CMRT: Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT (required)
AFTER HOURS CALL IS REQUIRED
• prepare the room for examination.
• handle patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes or other devices, and monitor patient during imaging.
• demonstrate knowledge of emergency drugs and equipment therapy.
• administer contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelines.
• process and manipulate images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoot, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed
