Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU
Location: La Jolla, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 hrs (Days or Nights)

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years NICU experience (strong background required)
BLS & NRP certifications
Epic charting experience required
Delivery hospital experience preferred

Role Highlights:

Care for neonates (including high-risk and extremely premature infants)
Assist in high-risk deliveries and advanced NICU procedures
Manage ventilators, IV therapy, medications, and critical care support

Unit Details:

Level III NICU with ~20 beds (avg. census 19)
Patient ratio: 1:2–3
Exposure to advanced equipment (oscillators, CPAP, therapeutic hypothermia)
Float required within NICU units

Additional Info:

First-time travelers accepted
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Local candidates not accepted (within 50 miles)
Max 6 days RTO; must work 2 of 3 major holidays
