Travel Pharmacist – Critical Access | 3-Day Schedule + Housing Provided

We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist for a critical access hospital offering a unique combination of clinical variety and work-life balance. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, including infusion and compounding.

This is an ideal opportunity for pharmacists looking for a flexible schedule with strong clinical exposure in a smaller, collaborative setting.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Pharmacist (Inpatient / Outpatient / Infusion)
• Schedule: 3x8 hour shifts per week (blocked schedule)
• Shift Time: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week
• Setting: Critical Access Hospital

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense medications across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Prepare chemotherapy and hazardous medications
• Perform sterile compounding and IV preparation
• Monitor medication therapies and ensure safe, effective dosing
• Collaborate with providers and nursing staff on patient care plans
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Provide clinical support across multiple service lines

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license (state-specific)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience with:
  • Inpatient and outpatient pharmacy
  • Chemotherapy and infusion services
  • Sterile compounding
• Epic Willow experience required
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
