Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient- and family-centered care in an acute care setting. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, ensuring safety and quality outcomes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This role follows evidence-based practice and emphasizes patient satisfaction, education, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Monitor patient responses and document clinical outcomes
- Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Utilize resources effectively to support patient care and organizational goals
Education:
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Support patient understanding and engagement in care
Leadership:
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff
- Serve as a mentor/preceptor for team members
- Promote teamwork and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience (Required)
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Education:
- Nursing Diploma OR Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) (Required)
Certifications & Licensure:
- Active RN License (Required)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Certifications (Required)
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong patient assessment and care planning skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
