Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU Trauma Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves caring for patients with conditions ranging from moderate to highly complex, requiring strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of ICU/Trauma patients
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
  • Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed
  • Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments
  • Respond to changes in patient conditions and intervene appropriately
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and hospital procedures
  • Coordinate care and make referrals to appropriate healthcare personnel
  • Delegate tasks effectively to support staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience (ICU/Trauma preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and patient care techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer proficiency

Education:

  • Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Certifications & Licensure:

  • Active RN License (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or Compact License – eNLC)
  • BLS (AHA) – Required
  • ACLS (AHA) – Required
