Travel Nursing Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN

Position Details:
Location: Madison, WI
Schedule: 3x12 Nights/Days
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Requirements: Every other weekend; floating within discipline as needed; call required

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill and premature neonates
Monitor ventilators, CPAP, and advanced neonatal respiratory support
Administer and titrate high-risk medications including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine
Collaborate with neonatologists and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
Perform neonatal assessments and continuous cardiac/respiratory monitoring
Support families with education and compassionate communication
Document accurately in EPIC EMR system

Unit Details:

NICU setting with high-acuity neonatal population
Floating may occur within the same discipline across local campuses
Interdisciplinary team-based care model
Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Requirements & Qualifications:

Active RN license (Wisconsin)
BLS (AHA) required
NRP certification required
Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
At least 1 completed travel contract required
Experience with vasoactive drips (epinephrine, norepinephrine, dopamine) required
EPIC experience preferred

Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles (local considerations may apply).
