Primary Location: OB Aspirus Wausau HospitalShift Requirements: 12 hour nights 7p-730aWeekend/Holiday: every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotationFloat Requirements: NoneOn Call/Call Back Requirements:. Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hoursRequired Certifications: Mandatory: AHA or ARC BLS, Advanced NRP. WI RN licenseMinimum Experience: 2 years in OB with L&D experience.Charting Experience: Primary EMR is EPIC. Experience preferred.Required Skillset: Labor and Delivery competentUnit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 11 bed L&D / 8 Bed Post Partum 1350 deliveries annuallyAverage Daily Census: Highly variable. Average monthly delivery rate is 112/month.Scrub colors: any color Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours travelers can be put on call during the 36 hours of unbillable low census. If called back in, they will have call back pay. GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times. This is an Aspirus policy, and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action. REQUIRED EDUCATION:Associate Degree or Certificate HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS:EVERY OTHER SHIFT
