Description

Flu Vaccination/Mercy Approved Exemptions is required for all travelers from November 1-April 1. Declinations are not accepted.

Floor: 6 East Med Surg Intermediate
• Specialty: Stepdown
• Shift: Nights, 1900-0730
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 – must be indicated on submission form
Weekend Hours: As required by facility/every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)

• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Years of Experience: Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year Stepdown, inpatient only; This is a very respiratory heavy floor, must have Trach/Vent experience
• Float Requirements: as needed, to a similar or lower acuity unit

Preferred Skillset/Experience:
• Type of Patients on Unit: Respiratory failure, ETOH, Overdose, GI Bleed, Electrolyte Imbalance, COPD, Cancer
• Personality Fit: Teamwork, dependable, flexible

RTO of 5 days or less, must make up the week on the back end

• Holiday RTO – can request only 1 per assignment

• ENight shift orients on day shift. Traveler must be available the entire week for orientation
