General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

·         Number of Beds – 4 OR rooms

·         Number of Staff – 5 RN’s/6 ST (4 are First Assists)

·         Type of staff:

o    Day Shift – 7-330

o    Night Shift – “on call” 330p -7am (M-F)

·         Type of procedures- Robot, Ortho, TJ, ENT, GYN, General, Bariatric, podiatry, etc.

·         EMR – meditech

·         CNOR strong x3 years/  unit of Distinction 2019

·         Joint commission certified in both Knees and Hips.

Hiring Profile

Must have: 

·         BLS

·         Recent OR experience

Preferred or nice to have: 

·          Scrub procedures

·          CNOR certification

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·          Robotic procedures- prostate, hysterectomy

·         All orthopedic procedures- Shoulders, knees, hips, trauma

·          GYN-all procedures both laparoscopic, Robotic and open

·         General- all procedures

·         ENT

·         Podiatry

·         Spine- fusions, laminectomies, ACDF

Floating Area(s):

·         Endoscopy –when needed

Dress Code:

·         Scrub Color/Attire – grey scrubs supplied by hospital.   Change daily.  Scrubs laundered by hospital.

Weekends and On call:

·         Every 5-6 weekend

·         One call night per week
