Number of Beds - Cath lab 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath / suites
Number of Staff – 9
Type of staff:
- Day Shift - day shift 6:45 to 5:15 CVL
- 0700-1700 pre post - variable
Patient Ratios - 3 staff to 1 patient . Cath Lab procedural area
Type of equipment – GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
EMR - Meditech

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

ACLS 2 yrs. Cath Lab experience

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Holding experience, Monitoring experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention
Pacers, ICD’s, Cardioversions, TEE’s Tilt Table Tests, Dobutamine stress test.

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

Must take on-call responsibilities with rest of team. Must be housed within 30 min of the Cath Lab.
We divide call evenly through the 4 week schedule- usually 8-12 days. We try to do only one weekend on during that 4 week block but that is not always possible.
