Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Location: Utica, NY
Shift: Day 3x12 (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Unit: IMCU

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for adult patients (18+) in the IMCU setting
Monitor and manage patients with complex conditions including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and ventilators
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Therapy for vent management
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
Float to other units as required

Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
Travel experience required
Active New York RN License (verified via NURSYS)
Current AHA Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience with EPIC EMR
