American Consultants is looking for a travel X Ray/CT Tech for a facility in Ohio. This is either 3 x12 hour nights or 4x 10 PM shift.

Pay Package:

12 hour overnight shift

Taxable $45/hour ($1620/ week)

Tax Free $1246/week

Total $2866/week

10 hour PM Shift

Taxable: $48.85/hour ($1954/week)

Tax Free $1246/week

Total $3200/week

Job Summary

A Travel CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients while working on short-term assignments at various healthcare facilities. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and strong technical and patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate CT equipment and adjust imaging parameters for optimal results
• Administer contrast media when required and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists
• Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions as needed
• Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and workflows

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or required (depending on facility)
• Active state license (as required by assignment location)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of CT experience (travel experience preferred)
