Description
Travel Pharmacist – Home Infusion / Sterile Compounding (Day Shift)
We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist to support a home infusion pharmacy team. This role combines clinical oversight, sterile compounding, and operational leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Job Overview
- Specialty: Pharmacist (Home Infusion / Clinical)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shift Options: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Home Infusion Pharmacy
Responsibilities
- Verify and dispense prescription medications safely and accurately
- Perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards
- Monitor patient medication profiles for safety, interactions, and effectiveness
- Provide patient counseling and clinical guidance
- Collaborate with providers and nursing teams on infusion therapies
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and workflow operations
- Maintain sterile compounding environment, including cleaning and compliance
- Ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and inventory management
- Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist license (state-specific, required at submission)
- BLS certification
- Sterile compounding experience required
- Experience in home infusion, hospital, or clinical pharmacy preferred
- Strong understanding of USP 797 and USP 800 standards
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Rotating shifts based on business needs
- Overtime may be required
- No fixed closing time; flexibility is important
- Strong team-oriented environment with operational and clinical responsibilities
Sterile compounding experience is required
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Flexibility with scheduling is required

Candidates must be able to support both clinical and operational workflows
