Description

Travel Pharmacist – Home Infusion / Sterile Compounding (Day Shift)

We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist to support a home infusion pharmacy team. This role combines clinical oversight, sterile compounding, and operational leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview

Specialty: Pharmacist (Home Infusion / Clinical)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Options: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Setting: Home Infusion Pharmacy

Responsibilities

Verify and dispense prescription medications safely and accurately
Perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards
Monitor patient medication profiles for safety, interactions, and effectiveness
Provide patient counseling and clinical guidance
Collaborate with providers and nursing teams on infusion therapies
Supervise pharmacy technicians and workflow operations
Maintain sterile compounding environment, including cleaning and compliance
Ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and inventory management
Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives

Requirements

Active Pharmacist license (state-specific, required at submission)
BLS certification
Sterile compounding experience required
Experience in home infusion, hospital, or clinical pharmacy preferred
Strong understanding of USP 797 and USP 800 standards
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Rotating shifts based on business needs
Overtime may be required
No fixed closing time; flexibility is important
Strong team-oriented environment with operational and clinical responsibilities
