· Number of Beds : n/a
· Patient Ratios : Avg 38 patients per day screening mammograms. 18/day diagnostic
· Unit staffing description- Large breast center with average of 10 techs on site per day
· Type of equipment : GE Senographe Pristina
· Documentation system: Cerner, Penrad
· Scheduling requirements: M-F 9:00-17:30. Saturdays 8016:30 as needed
· Floating policy: Required to float to other breast centers if needed
· Patient Experience requirements: Experience working in a women’s imaging center. Mindful of women that have a history of cancer and treatment including lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation

· Certifications: ARRT (R) and (M) Mammography
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: IV certification, Competent in invasive and sterile procedures
Must have: Screening mammogram experience, competent in additional imaging views such as magnification and spot compression views. Experience in advanced mammography imaging and fully confident/competent with demonstrating and showing radiologists complicated mammographic cases
Advanced skills needed:
Procedures performed on unit: Stereotactic biopsies, Pre-surgical localizations, Contrast Enhanced Mammography
Certifications Required: Current ARRT Mammogarphy certification. Per MQSA Standards: Documentation: Must have initial 40 hours of training in Mammography, Current in continuing education for Mammography, Up to date on numbers in Mammography (200/2 years), 8 hours digital mammo training and 8 hours digital tomosynthesis training. Any documents missing will result in this training be done onsite before performing mammograms on patients. BLS certification.
