Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a rehabilitation team within a skilled nursing environment. The ideal candidate will support patient-centered therapy plans, collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists, and contribute to improving functional outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapeutic activities and interventions to improve daily living skills and mobility.
• Document patient progress accurately in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Active COTA license in the state of California.
• Minimum experience: Less than 1 year accepted.
• Ability to work variable shifts as assigned.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• No bilingual requirement.
• Holiday coverage: Not required.
• EMR experience: Not listed / not required.
