Description
Class/Area: RN / ICU
Start Date: 4/27 or 5/11
Schedule details: 12-hour nights, 1900-0700
Experience Requirements: 2 years of ICU RN experience Experience Preferred: ICU experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center. Experience with CTS and Neuro patients. TNCC preferred
License/Certification Requirements: RN; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EMR: Altera Sunrise (formerly known as Allscripts). Candidates are not required to have any experience with this - it is noted to be extremely similar to Cerner!
Floating Requirements: Yes, ICU staff floats to our Stepdown/PCU unit Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend On-Call Requirements: We do push back and cancellation. This depends on the census and the amount of staff on for the shift.
Holiday Requirements: Yes, 1 major and 1 minor Will the client accept new graduates? No Orientation: Days 1 and 2 will attend TUKHS 2-day ori. Day 3 is Liberty ori & Clinical ori, Day 4 is continued Clinical ori, Day 5 will be completing computer work, then dismissed to units - varies by unit. Creds Due: Monday before start date
