Position Details:

Job Title - RN - Hemodialysis
Unit - Peds
Duration -26 Weeks
Shift -AM (05:00 - 15:30), 4 X 10s • 40 hrs / Week, 10 hrs
Location - Phoenix, AZ

 

Position Summary:
Dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in pediatric hemodialysis, providing comprehensive care to children with acute and chronic kidney conditions. Experienced in operating dialysis equipment, monitoring patient responses to treatment, and managing vascular access in a pediatric setting. Adept at assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and ensuring safe and effective dialysis therapy.

 

Job Duties:

  • Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment
  • Assess patient condition before, during, and after dialysis, including vital signs and fluid status
  • Operate and monitor dialysis machines, ensuring safe and effective treatment delivery
  • Manage and assess vascular access (AV fistula, grafts, and central lines)

Note: 2 years of pediatric experience required

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 years
  • Certifications: BLS AHA, PALS AHA,  RN license
