Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Louisville, KY | $2,112/week

Location: Louisville, KY
Start Date: 04/26/2026
Contract Type: Travel
Shift: 12-Hour Days (06:45 – 19:15), every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Pay: $2,112/week

Position: RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Job Summary:

Provide direct patient care in a cardiac stepdown / post-procedural unit
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Mentor and precept licensed and non-licensed staff
Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in quality and safety improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years acute care RN experience
Patient assessment, independent decision-making, and plan of care development/implementation
Epic EMR experience preferred
Telemetry monitoring and titration required
Cardiac stepdown experience (NSTEMI, TAVR, Watchman, ablations)
Able to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Licensure & Certifications:

RN License (state required)
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
