Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing

License

New York Nursing License

Certifications

Basic Life Support

Description

Weekend: Every other weekend

First time traveler: Accepted

Locals: Must be 75 mile radius

Years of experience: 1 year

Special requirement: Need to be able to take a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg

Cert: BLS, NIHSS Required

Charting: Must have EPIC experience

All of our patients have continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring. We care for patients needing airway management, acute BIPAP support, patients with arterial lines, central lines and patients requiring titrated medicated IV infusions.

Skills : Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
