Travel CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Radiology

Location: Dickson, Tennessee
Facility: Horizon Medical Center (HCA Healthcare)
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a well-established acute care facility. This role involves performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced radiology environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable working independently during night shifts.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Days: Thursday – Saturday
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during scans
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient data
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for timely diagnosis
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT (CT) certification (required)
• Current state licensure (Tennessee) or eligibility
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging techniques
• Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
