Job Opportunity: Technologist - MRI (Days)

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily with Siemens and GE MRI equipment.
• Patient types include Emergency Department (ED), Inpatient (IP), and Outpatient (OP).
• Responsibilities include power injection contrast injections.
• May be required to float across multiple campuses within the local area.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Typical workweek: 36-40 hours, with overtime after 40 hours.
• Orientation dates available.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) experience.
• Strong proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment.
• Strong proficiency with GE MRI equipment.
• ARMRIT certificate OR ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R) with MRI specialty (MR).
• Experience with EPIC or EPIC Radiant systems.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Skills checklist specific to MRI discipline.
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
• Level I trauma experience highly preferred.

• Scrubs color: Charcoal Gray.
• Call back and on-call pay multipliers apply (details not included here).
• Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius of the location.
