Description

Orientation Dates: 4/27, 5/4, 5/11 Orientations occur every week on Mondays. Pediatric Cardiac Perfusionist - 4-10 Hour shift/per week 7a-17:00p Mon-Fri and 1 call every 3rd weekend. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with 1 year experience recent experience in a Level 3 Trauma facility. Pediatric experience is strongly preferred, not required. Prior travel experience is preferred, not required. Any perfusionist will need to be able to operate POC devices. Required a high school diploma or college degree diploma as this is a requirement for their CAPS certification. Required: ABCP - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Certification in addition to Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License. Ratios: Perfusion runs an N+1 model (n = rooms). Pat: Pediatric Congential Heart Patients/NO ECMO, Occasional VAD - pedimag/centrimag, heartmate III and berlin. Ages: 0-21 years. Equipment: Spectrum HLM, Hepcon HMS, Frensenius CATS Cell Saver, Hemochron Jr. ACT, CardioQuip Heater Coolers VADS: Centrimag/Pedimag, Heartmate III, Berlin. Facility requires all travelers to have complete COVID vaccine series or valid exemption by Start Date. No Exceptions. IVS to interview/Mgr to offer.
