Department: CT/RadTech *Certifications: BLS & ARRT (R)* NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. **Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract **Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.** - How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 1 x-ray room, 1 portable x-ray, and 1 CT machine - Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Will cover ER, inpatient, and occasional outpatient - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Mixed population of adults and peds, CT, CTAs, and portable x-rays - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must be a certified x-ray tech with CT experience (does not need to be ARRT CT certified but needs to have advanced knowledge of all CT exams) - EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: EMR: EPIC / PACS: McKesson - Department Specific Equipment: Siemen Multix X-ray room with Canon Cassette and Software, Siements Mobilett Elara Max Portable, Siemens Somatom GoUP CT with Bracco Injector - Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift?: No, not on nights - Do they use RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No - Radiologist in-house?: No - Shifts & Scheduling: 10 hour shifts Mon-Thur 7p-530a - Weekend Requirements: Usually covered by perm staff- however may be asked to pick up coverage depending on availability and interest
