Description

Job Details-:

No. of L&D Beds: 10 beds - 2 OR's in L&D
No. of triage beds: 2 beds
No. of Postpartum beds: 18 beds
No. of births: 130 births per month
Ratios: 1:1 close to delivery, 1:2 otherwise, 1:4 couplets on postpart
FHM System: Obix fetal monitoring
EMR: Cerner -
Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts in a 4 week period
Call Requirement: None on either - Holidays: 1 Major, 1 Minor.
Scrub Color: Provided
Floating: PP-no unless NICU background for feeder/grower, L&D to postpartum.
Types of patients: Deliver down to 23 wks, some high risk- Antepartum, HTN, plan to tx out if known cardiac abnormality. Have perinatology support.
Charting system- Cerner

Requirements-:

Must have 2 years of L&D experience
Previous travel experience preferred
C-Section experience also requird
Active California RN License
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
