Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Job Summary

We are seeking a fast-thinking and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Emergency Department. The ER RN will provide immediate and life-saving care to patients experiencing trauma, injury, or acute illness while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment and triage of patients upon arrival
• Deliver emergency care for trauma, critical illness, and urgent medical conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments
• Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures and resuscitations
• Operate emergency and life-support equipment
• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Follow all hospital safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license – Georgia
• BLS, ACLS & PALS (AHA) required
• TNCC preferred
• 1–2+ years of Emergency Room experience preferred
• Strong triage and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
