LTAC / Telemetry RN – Job Summary Breakdown

Role: LTAC / Telemetry Registered Nurse
Location: Missouri
Experience Required: 2–5 Years

Weekly Schedule:

Hours per Week: 36 Hours
Shift Pattern: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Overtime: Possible depending on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide patient care using the Nursing Process following the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Monitor and manage LTAC / Telemetry patients, including ventilator and tracheostomy care.
Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure safe patient care.
Plan, coordinate, and delegate care tasks to appropriate staff members.
Supervise and guide nursing personnel delivering patient care.
Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and training.

Required Qualifications

✔ 2–5 years RN experience
✔ Ventilator & Trach experience required
✔ Missouri RN License or Compact (Multi-State) RN License
✔ ACLS Certification – American Heart Association
✔ BLS Certification – American Heart Association
